ok.. i was listening to a song today and i fell in love with the synth and was wondering if there were more songs with the same sound. its from..

 

astral projection - flying into a star (ast-roid remix)

 

..and the synth comes in at the very begging of the song and is played thruought, but has a solo at the 5:19 mark..

ye i believe that that IN THE MIX exists as unmixed version as well.

 

can't think of exactly same sound, but if you try ASURA - THEY WILL COME and ASURA - CODE ETERNITY tracks you will find some beautiful high-pitched sounds that will beat the pants off flying into a star.
