There are no psy parties in Winnipeg...the parties here are mainstream(house, gay trance, jungle, happycore, etc) and have a lot of differnt styles playing at the same party. Its rare that we have a jungle, trance, hardhouse, happycore, etc only party.

 

We once had Infected Mushroom here and I was the only psy dj on the roster. The promotors lost their original venue and had to move to a smaller one, and I got bumped b/c I wasn't friends with any of them(but I'll stop playing my violin)

 

the set was spun at 230 or 300 in the morning...the dj before me played hard techno and the dj after me played hard/acid/melodic trance

 

oh yeah, psy trance is always played in the side room too, but i had the room packed and the place was going off!!!

Hey ether, without even being there I reckon your set would have gone done really well, and I congratulate you for it! :-) Although I can't really be bothered sending you a CD-R for it, if you ever put it online be sure to tell me. :-)

my computer sucks, and i do all the forum chatting, etc at work...if work found out i did something like uploading the mix, they would rape me in every hole before throwing me out the front door

 

but i'll try to find a fast enough computer to get it on the net...thats for the advice
