I think it's something involving Avi Algranati aka Space Cat. The sample is too short and the quality is too bad, upload something longer and we'll be able to crack it for you.

Sounds IM/Rastaliens-ish.

IM - hardly. I've listened to almost everything from IM and there is nothing similar. I've dl-ed and reviewd Rastaliens' 'Freestyle' and 'Xplore the Wild Side' albums and haven't found the match but they seem to be somewhat close with sounds 'n stuff. I'll check their older stuff later, if any.

I've just downloaded 'spacecat_vs_talamasca_-_armagedon-psycz.mp3' from '3D Story Volume 2 - Cd2 :The Co-Labs' and it isn't it. It has some vague resemblance to the sample track but all in all, it sounds to me like it's 5 times watered down version of the thing I'm trying to identify.. I don't know if I downloaded the proper version though.
