Guest akindo Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 Hi! DJ L'Elf (Turbo Trance records), DJ Stella Nutella (Turbo Trance records) and Walhalla are all playing in Vienna this Friday. As we have almost only minimal trance here, I am quite excited about this. So I was wondering, have any of you heard any of these three artists? Were they good? Thanks! akindo Quote
tbe Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 DJ l'Elf is a very good french DJ. He usually play full-on music. He likes to please people so he doesn't play too much unreleased. Once he played Shpongle DMT Trance remix...and it was so good ! Walhalla is a band from south west of France. It's mostly minimal...I don't like it very much but I know some people who like...it's a way of taste. About Stella Nutella...I don't think it's Turbo trance record...Maybe it's Organic Records. But I don't know what (she?)'s playing. Anyway, have a good party Akindo ! Quote
Guest psychopat Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 You can go there without any questions? I haven't seen Walhalla act yet but I've danced a lot on L'Elf and Stella sets ;-) It's been a quite long time a haven't meet L'Elf, but I saw Stella on Septembre in Switzerland and it was great ! But she's not part of Turbo Trance team (France) she is affiliated with Organic records (UK). Stella is mixing full on psytrance and L'Elf usually plays later with (not minimal) morning tunes. Have a nice party !!!! Quote
Guest psychopat Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 You just read in my mind tbe ;-))) ! Quote
Guest nâga Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Stella Nutella and Walhalla(they are from Paris infact) are for sure now part of Turbotrance, which is l'Elf's label. Stella and l'Elf are very very good dj's, no doubt about it, and Walhalla are great too, their first lp will be out in 2002 on Turbotrance. And watch out for the next Fire compilation from Turbotrance, out soon and great ! Have a good party ! Quote
Guest psychopat Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Hi Naga ! I was at the trancestral xx.06.2000 party where L'Elf played a 3 hours long set (in Pipey, if I remember well). It's a good thing for Turbo Trance to have Stella with them. I'm happy to learn this ! Future Stella-Gill ping-pong sets in perpective, just like the one I've heard at Natur'Alp festival in Septembre which was so great. If you don't mind I will mail you directly since I'm into psytrance producing (amateur for now but....) and live in Annecy, not so far from you I think !!!! see you soon, psychoPat. Quote
Goazzz... Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 I've heared Stella in Sola Luna Fest. and she is really a tallent guyzz!!!! After a month i listened to her again in a Patry in Athens, and she really rocked!!!! Akindo don't miss that party!!!! you will regret it!!!! Respect!!!! Quote
Guest akindo Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Hey man, I am not going to miss the pary at all! I am going and am bringing all my friends to it. It is the best line-up I've seen in Vienna since I came here 2 years ago. Finally some full-on music here. So you think Stella Nutella will play at night and L'Elf in the morning? Walhalla, though, I am not so excited about, after having heard their/his music. Although some sounds are good. Thanks for your info and boom! akindo Quote
bomble Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 Stella's certainly a well known entity in the British party scene ... and is part of Organic. She turns great full on sets and I don't know whether there's any connection to Turbo Trance or not. bomble Quote
