Children - Quite good, but can miss on the occasion. mars - Thourogh and informative, no real conviction, Freak 51 - Erratic and compulsive. rx7 - emotive and vulgar at times, overtly emotional. more to come................. Children Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Hehe thx Alien, you could have been much more rude :-) Most of the reviews I wrote in 2000 are much too short actually, particularly early 2000. At that time my aim was to start the reviews section with around 100 albums/compils, so I could not review them with more than 1-3 lines ... I'm personally not taking it as a flame war start, can be nice to know what people think of your reviewing style (in order to improve it), provided that it's argumentative and stays non-aggressive :-) Quote

I made an effort in being a lot more objective when I started signing "moondancer". And then there's another guy pretending to be "moondancer" in some reviews and being a complete ass-hole, but that's not me!! I tend to follow Anoebis' suggestions, since most of the time I like the same stuff he does (killer full-on goa!!). But the best thing to do is download the albums on MP3s and give it a few listens and make an opinion for yourself!! After all, we're all different, so it's only normal we'll all have slightly different tastes!! Quote

My intention was only in jest and just to get a little reaction to see what it is like to have felt the other end of the stick. Children I like your idea. I also am very emotional, and I'm emotional in my reviews too. I just didn't think when I opened your thread that I would see a review of my writings anywhere but in the reviews section -- it was kind of funny. Notice how I said this thread was silly? Silly in my language means funny but with no purpose... ;-) Quote
