Guest lifeform
I figured this song out... That very end... Where he does that crazy gating and panning... You know what i mean... Wa uh ohhh WAAA ohhhhhh oh oh .But forever i thought it just sounded cool, but i figured out what it's doing! It ties your ears in a knot! I was listening a few nights ago in headphones... and i found myself feeling like my ears where on the opposite side of my head and there was a big knot there as well. I had to blink a few times just to snap outta it... Cause you know my eyes where closed, hence the name. That's awesome!

Strumpling
What I like about that track is for a while everything is going separately, and doing its own thing, but then the whole song is grabbed (near the part you're talking about, Lifeform) and the entire THING gets thrown around for a while (tied in a knot? I'll definitely have to listen to it tonight -=- Matt/STrumpling -=- StSTSTSTStStSTStStStStStSTStSTStStStStSt
Strumpling
One thing that gets me about that track is that for a while every sound is doing its own thing, dancing around, but then (near the part you're referring to, Lifeform) the whole THING is grabbed and thrown around for a while (tied in a knot? I'll definitely have to check that out tonight!), before it separates back into separate peices. -=- Matt/STrumpling -=- StSTStStStStStSTStSTSTStSt
Strumpling
god dammit! i submitted the first one and it gave me an error..... so I double-checked, to see if it had posted - it hadn't - i wrote a new post, and submitted that one - now they're both there. -=- Matt/Strumpling -=- long live the phorum - at least i got my name right this time
Guest lifeform
Yes, i was uhh... definitly... "shpongled' at the time... heh..heh..heh.. But yes, this is the ultimate track i think, it's got everything... The nice intro... Bad ass leads... With that guy breathing in the background.. Crazy ass Liquid samples.. Raja's rocking flute.. And it trances over it self... (the first time the sound gets gated / chopped) And a awesome transition to DMT.. Play that part over a huge bassey stereo system. I feel like the maxwell tapes guy... Ya know the logo where it's like he's in a huge wind storm with the sunglasses on sitting in the chair? Yeah, That's me while listening to that part. >

Guest didge
my favourite sphongle track, no doubt. wtf is that instrument in the early melody?
Strumpling
I'll bet it's an "instrument" that doesn't really exist -=- Matt/Strumpling -=- Many psy-artists seem to invent new "instruments" :-D!
Guest psywarrior
You are right Strumpling, that is one of the reasons this music is so unique. There are no limits as there are in non-electronic forms of music. With this music the sky is the limit and there is this infinite potential that truly creative artists (like Simon) can use to create never before heard sonic soundscapes. There are no limits so keep an open mind!
