I was searching in the 'GoaShops' link, Bulgaria's not there

Listen mate, I'm from Poland and drink Bulgarian wine. If you're going to Sofia then I recommend the local brand "Sofia" - Melnik is nice, very nice!!

Sorry can't help you with the goa related questions, but I'm sure the wine will make your stay in bulgaria a lot more jolly!!

Peace in

ok.,i am from sofia, bulgaria....and i can tell you that there is no store where you can stock up on cds...try the corner store on Slaveikov square for some, but they have only a few titles....very few actually

there may be a party at the time you are going to be there, i am not sure though....

you can check the Muhomorka (i.e. fly agaric) store for flyers, and the people there might be in the know of some music shop or something....the muhomorka is located on the corner of Shishman and Graf Ignatiev streets, the entrance if from Shishman street.

as for the wine comments - bulgaria has some killer wines, but the wines under the Sofia brand are absolute @!#$, very low quality compared to other, real stuff....(by all means try some Mavrud wine from Assenovgrad)

other cool store you can go to, also they have flyers and they sell vynil is Sector 10, it is located on Ivan Vazov street, which intersects with Shishman street and is parallel to Graf Ignatiev street....from the street it does not look like there is a store in the bulding behind the fence, but there actually is!....

:-)

Yeah, Sofia is pretty shitty, but at the rate I drink, if I were purchasing classy fermented grapes I'd be skint to the bone. Have you heard of Bear Blood wine, it's also from bulgaria. Another favourite of mine, in the sense that it's cheap, and has a good kick. Egri Bikaver or Bikavre is actually nice wine, I think, but I'm not sure if it's from bulgaria.

By the way Green Mouse, have you heard about the XPO music exhibition festival that is going to take place in Bulgaria in August??

Peace in
