Guest dj balalien
I have dl only 10% of the song named KB Malmo, by Son Kite. In the place of winamp where it's supposed to stand the remaining time of the song, stands 55:38, 55minutes and 38seconds. I've been listening, thinking it's some software mistake, 10minutes left and it was still playing. That was some version of a track played on some party, considering the voices that were on ... I am really confused.
Guest ZaRAMaTU
I think this is because it's a song in VBR-mode, variable bitrate that is. They can be quite tricky to play when only partially downloaded.
Guest dj balalien
It's the VBR mode of the track, but it ain't partially dl.
Guest vasyachkin
i think winamp has problems estimating track length of VBR tracks.
Strumpling
Yeah, MusicMatch has the same prob with displaying VBR encoded times.
Guest VBR files sucks
What the @!#$ is the point in VBR files? so you cant burn them on CD?
Guest unit
I have the strangest problem with my winamp. Everytime I close winamp, a process called winamp.exe is still active and takes up 98% of the CPU time. So I always have to press ctrl+alt+del and manually close the process after I've closed winamp.. Very annoying. Same problem in both win2k and win XP. (I've even formatted my harddrive but it's still the same, quite strange.. Havn't heard anyone else with this problem).

Guest bugbread
Nah, you can burn VBR files, that's not a problem. It just doesn't display properly in some players.
