Guest David Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 Hi Folks, I finally have a new mix online, that was recorded this weekend at Dj Uhm's wedding party, wich was a beatiful outdoor gathering in celebration of the union of Jenn and Brian(congratulations!!). It is the 2nd mix that I have recorded and the 4th time that I have had the immense pleasure of playing out in front of people. Guest David Posted March 19, 2002 Posted March 19, 2002 Usually I try recording at home and in that case my amp does'nt have a volume control, so I keep my input/output levels on my mixer at zero and send and output to my computer. Then another output to an efx-500 effects box(between the mixer and amp), just to use as a way to turn down the volume coming out the speakers. You could certainly just go from the mixer to the computer and amp. I use Wavelab. Sound Forge is also good. I think the recording was taken off the mixer uncompressed. I have also not normalized this one. - David Quote

Guest matt/shitling Posted March 19, 2002 Posted March 19, 2002 David...u sure thats the track listing...in order??? it went from track 1 to 5 (beat bizzare) in less than 5 mins!! anyway...im listening to it right now...and only reached 10 mins so far...and IMO...its good!!...better than many that iv heard...but as u said...it might fall apart near the end...will just have to wait and see for that.
