Guest E-klektik
I was reading the thread about dark psytrance earlier. I'd never heard The Delta before (I'm still new to psy) so I found a few mp3s to listen to. WOW!!! Now ~this~ is the stuff I like!! I've been listening primarily to ebm/industrial for the past 8 years and I love that darker edge to music. Psytrance can have that dark feel with all the energy that industrial can lack. Other stuff I've heard and like are Hux-Flux, Infected Mushroom, and X-Dream. What would you say is a must-have for my collection - keeping with this high-energy, dark sound? Appreciated! Guest Stormbringer
If you´re familiar with ebm/industrial then I´ll recomend The Tim Schuld remixes of "Evil Playground" and "Colombian Necktie" both originally made by Frontline Assembly. Review: http://goatrance.free.fr/reviews/colombia.htm Another killer-remix by Tim Schuldt is Kliniks classic track "Moving Hands" WOW!!! Other Dark hard acts: Tetraktys, http://goatrance.free.fr/reviews/capricor.htm Authentik, http://goatrance.free.fr/reviews/solidthe.htm Source Unknown, http://goatrance.free.fr/reviews/technofu.htm But if you really want something nasty... look for Immininent Starvation "North LP", Industrial Trance, the nastiest kind arround ;-)
Guest carbon
if you like delta, you'll appreciate spirallianz/midi miliz cd

More full on stuff: Absolum, Skazi, Xenomorph, Neuromotor, Hujaboy, Wizzy Noise. Not sure about COP, EA - COP are pretty fluffy.
Guest E-klektik
Thanks for all the suggestions!! I do like Wizzy Noise and have one Tim Schuldt track (Ohm Shiva - that's a great one!). Definitely need to check out his FLA remixes. All the Imminent Starvation I've ever heard is creepy (not that that's a bad thing...) Just last week I went to a fairly new record store in town and picked up the Spirallianz 'Motorman' 12" (it was the only psytrance they had!) It's alright. I need to give it a few more listens, but I like it (else I wouldn't have bought it). ;P Keep up with the suggestions though...it's so very appreciated!! Otto Matta
Tom - C.O.P. fluffy? I'd admit that they're probably on the lighter end of the dark/hard scale, but "fluffy?" I'd go completely insane if I ever heard El Nino on a dancefloor!
