Guest -[ kinetik psY.ko ]- Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 HEY! i'm looking for some musik similar to Toï Doï plz give me names of all the fastest and hardezt producers or songs u know!!!! Quote
Guest Setsuko Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 maybe psyside ...that's realy insane psychedelica (try 'virtual reality') Quote
Guest Moo Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 Maybe check out some Talamasca? he's pretty fast and hard too, and he's also French! Tim Schuldt is pretty close to Toi Doi style too IMO. Once you finish those, you might want to move over to Battle of the Future Buddhas, Xenomorph and Cosmoon which don't really sound like Toi Doi but are pretty fast and hard too! Quote
Guest Phaedrus Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 I agree - I love Toi Doi. Talamasca is fast and hard, but not quite as melodic as Toi Doi. Talamasca is friggin great, too. Nice thread, I will also have to check out Tim Schuldt and the rest. Quote
Otto Matta Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 Yeah, I'd say Pleiadians, too, except their music isn't nearly as unabashedly repetetive and loopy as Toi Doi. EA Quote
Otto Matta Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 Also see if you can find Dropz of Obscure Eclipses by Bypass Unit. They've also got that super-crinkly, acid sound (but again, not as repetetive.) EA Quote
Guest AtomicCow Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 Toi Doi isn't repetitive....it's HYPNOTIC! : ) I really can't think of anything that comes close. His sound is pretty unique. Quote
Otto Matta Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 AC - Okay - "hypnotic" then. I agree - very unique. EA Quote
Guest Moo Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 it's the repetitivness that makes it hypnotic!! Quote
bomble Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 The sound of a train moving on tracks can be hypnotic - as can all sorts of repetitive noises ... I don't think that hypnotic is a particular complement unless it is combined with other adjectives ! I like Toi Doi, but not in long doses ... I would second Pleiadians as on a similar style (particularly IFO) Also think Slide's 'unstable' has a similarly frantic feel bomble Quote
