Guest Mescalinium
I know this topic is rapidly getting caned but... From what I've heard (irritant, peter's hoover, and intercorporal stimulator), this album sounds incredible. We might even have another Radio at hand. Even better than the last Delta album (which I also thought was excellent). I read on Saikosounds that GTN is releasing an Irritant 12", but it didn't say which tracks were gonna be on it. Anyone know? (And why can't they release it as an LP, you can't tell me it wouldn't sell...) side note: does anyone know if Radio was released on LP? (I know freak was released on some Blue Room sampler, and the Frog and Radiohead were both EP's, but what about the rest of the tracks?) Guest Mescalinium
Just an ancillary comment... I checked the charts on psyshop, and even though Irritant has only been on sale for 3 or 4 days, it's already #3 on the cd chart for the last month! pretty amazing... says a lot about the demand
Guest didge
I got the album, and i must say wow! fucken radio and if not, delta... can not complain with that!
Otto Matta
I haven't heard the album yet, but it's on the very top of my list. But I wanted to say that I think it's very interesting that the people who bashed the latest Delta album said there was little X-Dream in it compared to the Spirallianz-ish content, and compared to Scizoeffective. But now people are saying that Irritant sounds like the Delta. Funny. Thought I'd mention it. EA
Guest ukiro
Yes, Radio was released on vinyl. I spoke to Jan Müller (half of X-Dream) about the release and he actually didn't know if they were going to make a full vinyl release, but he said he hoped so. "You never know with novatekk..." This was a little over a week ago. Considering that all of the previous D.Drum-releases (apart from that double-CD techno compilation and possible the first Delta album(?)) has been released on vinyl, I expect this one to get a proper vinyl release too. However, it is kind of worrying to see that 12" listed on saikosounds since that implies that they may choose to only release 2-4 tracks on vinyl. I'd guess the last 2 tracks (who are more breakbeat that 4x4) and Intercorporal Stimulator (since it's out on Blueroom, BR088) will not be released on vinyl. The rest, however, ought to be released. Thats still 7 tracks though, so they'd need more than one 12" to fit it all in. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
