So what if a song say Science of The Gods doesn't use the normal 4/4 beat. That is not what is important here. What is important is that the song (1) original (2)uses sounds in way that is hypnotizing (3) That the song is composed in a way that has some sort of feeling of progession. If all of this is achieved then who cares what sort of beat it has or even if it uses sounds from other genres of music. THE OVER_ALL EFFECT IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT. It's like somebody posting fire is hot or cutting off fingers hurts, so don't set your clothes on fire or chop off your thumb. We all agree. Not much to say. He is right that more people write responses in the review section that are not as open-minded. I know what I posted about sounds obvious but I have seen a few such posts in the forum. Such as people totally ignoring all minimal Psy as not Psy because it doesn't have the melodies of the Psy that had previously followed it. I think that most people on this forum are very open-minded but there are a few that say things that give away a bias toward a type of sound.
