Guest E-klektik
I've recently discovered the sounds of Psysex. How can they produce something so great as "An Expression of Rage" or "L.S.Dance" while throwing in something as gawdawful and cheezy as "The Evil Turkeys"? I've just got a few mp3s right now. Is their music worth buying? Is it only a couple of gems among cheezy crap? or the other way around? Opinions? Miss E-klektik

Guest Mr.Hanky
Well guys thanx for the good words but Evil Turkies is indeed stupid...:-)
Guest roopak@procyonrecords.com
both albums are good. different styles. personally prefer the first one overall but there are some craaaazy trax on the second. and evil turkey's may have too many samples on it but the music itself is fucking good. it gets even better toward the end... but i can't play it at a party cuz of the excessive samples. but as stated above, don't take it seriously...see, even yoni thinks it's stupid!! Guest helium
I gotta say, Mr hanky, that the samples in Hardcore Blastoff may well be the best I've ever heard--- they are so very phresh! That slicker-than-slick atyle of sampling is effin righteous-keep on with it!!! BTW, to contrast, the worst samples I've heard have probably gotta be Logic Bomb- the EXACT OPPOSITE of what makes the samples in Hardcore Blastoff so righteous--that super cheesy/corny bollocks Logic bomb pull is just lame and they ought to omit using samples entirely till they someone slaps em with a few times with a hip-stick... ;;;;))))))))) Anyway Hardcore Blastoff is one of my fav of all time and I had a profound spiritual experience to it at one time, after snorting a small amount of 5-MeO-DMT, and knowing Mr Hanky from the forum a bit, I became absorbed into the music such that I had this experience whereby I could feel/imagine/understand the emotions and so forth that Mr hanky perhaps feels and tries to express through his music-- like experienced a segment of the emotive aspect of the artist's consciousness for a brief period of time and fell into a perid of intense bliss, empathy, and love for life... Guest preus
hehe Mr Hanky i´ve got a question for you ! in various of your tracks you samples of moaning, whats the idea behind this ? hehe... cheerS !
Guest Mr.Hanky
ah,it sounds cool? no really,i beleive you are referring to Amphetamaniac, and in that track we tried to interpert the way your body feels under the influence of certain "things",hence>the moanings btw, originally after the sample("substances.....chemicals...") we had another sentence going like "Affect the way your body worx". but in the end it sounded like a downer so we removed it
Guest roopak@procyonrecords.com
helium...totally agree on the 'coolness' of logic bomb samples. they're IMO definitely among the best on the scene right now. amazing tracks with production quality equaled by few. but their samples...????????? like the one on Frequent Flyers about having 500 Frequent Flyer Miles or some @!#$ like that. I mean next they're gonna sample the financial news.
Guest helium
LOL Roopak, yea what is with them(LB) and their cheesball samples anyway? Has anyone told them about this? The Hux Flux samples tho are effin insane tho(is Tapper the diff?)- "tongue-in-cheek funny lab-geek style" is the baddest @!#$ around IMO
Guest preus
@ Mr. Hanky, its cool allright with the samples... just makes me think of somebody that is running low on fuel.. kinda like when dropping a E .. hehe.. yes i cant remeber the other tracks, but i´ve heard i think two or three others on one of your albums also with moaning kind of samples.. cheers preus
