Guest Mijis
I want to build a mix in 3 parts starting with minimal , progressive in the midle and i want to finish it with full on . The progressive and full on parts are almost builded i builded them before i knew how to pitch so all the tracks have the same bmps 139 for the progressive part and 144 for the full on part . Now i want to build the minimal one , i started yesterday but without luck posible reason : since i know how to pitch i have more tracks to mix but less ideas and if i have ideas i dont know how to order them well , so i need a few tips of how to build up a mix . Thanks
Guest akira
Every track has a certain feel or energy to it. Ultimately you're in charge of leading people to places....I don't know, you just kind of eventually get a feel for which track should come next. Maybe just chill out, listen to some tracks and kind of mix them in your mind before you get onto the decks.
Guest lurk
Its just a matter of knowing your music really well and then trusting your instincts. Its nothing that can be taught by others... just practice, practice and practice some more =o)
