does anyone here hear the basslines as words??

ok, this is very strange, i am never using drugs or anything..anyway sometimes when i hear a bassline it sounds like words..and i am NOT talking about samples. It sounds like the basslines says somthing over and over again..has anyone had the same feeling or is it just me??

I don't hear it in the base lines, but often I get that feeling. It seems like some simple speech pattern is morphed and muffled and being repeated just under the surface layers. I always think it's my imagination, sort of like looking at a cloud and finding that it resembles so other object, like a face or airplane or whatever. However, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if there really was something to it sometimes.

I don't hear things as WORDS, but I kind of "translate" every sound in psytrance into a vocal sound, as if I'm sitting there with the artist and they're telling me "so yeah then I'll have this '__________' sound going under all that.."

i hear all sorts of sounds as words or language.. so i know what u mean.

 

its not sounding like a voice or whatever, its a sound having a meaning as lanuage does.

Um, listen to a lot of anologue badd, specially stufflike the old 303 etc. and they made lotsa "noises" sounding like a "mantra". My mat Jimmy who plays break has lotsa basslines in hise live show that sound like voces, sends the crowd w-il-d. In alot of hallucinogens song you can hear it, especial I think Trancespotter and Gamma Goblins Pt II :-)

I have the same feeling Khogg..its like when looking into a cloud and you see pictures..its the same with basslines..i imagine i word and then i start hearing it over and over again...pretty hypnotising )
