Guest Ihminen
I really like the stuff of Shpongle so im trying to find similar artists. If you know any give me a list... Thank you!
Guest bugbread
No one is super similar, but try out Shulman for something close. The MOST Shponglelike stuff you can find is the track "The Receptive (jacuzzi mix)" by Younger Brother, since it's Simon and his GF. Still, it's only one track. Now to save a lot of people time, good chill stuff that everyone always recommends usually includes: The Orb Future Sound of London Makyo Saafi Brothers Banco de Gaia Boards of Canada Celtic Cross Karsh Kale Ooze Solar Quest and somebody always mentions Klaus Shulze - Crystal Lake. Did I miss any? Damn, I need to get work on the FAQ. I can already predict other people's answers to questions.

bomble
One of the things that makes Shpongle so special is that it they have a very individual sound, but there are many many chillout artists who make fantastic stuff that you should like if you enjoy Shpongle. If you are looking for some Shpongley elements - dub beats, eastern influences etc, then I go along with all that bugbread has mentioned, but would add: Dub Trees Kumba Mela Experiment Subsurfing / Alien Soap Opera TIP - mystical experiences & mystery of the yeti 1&2 Angel Tears Asura Digital Mystery Tour Ochi Brothers Padmasana Sounds from the Ground Toires bomble

Guest Axis Mundi
Wow, I didn't even ask the question, but thee's enough Ambient artists here to keep me busy for a while . . . thanks everyone! :-)
Guest Magic'Goblin
It's amazing: nobody mentioned the Kumharas Compilation (on S.S.T.) ?! Is it unknown or am I the one person who finds a link between them? Doesn't your head feel like a frisbee when you listen "Jörg On Mushroom - The Messager" (track 5 on Kumharas comp.) Guest bugbread
The Messenger is a frickin' awesome song, but I don't find it particularly Shpongle-like, nor do I find it to be psy-ambient.
