And it would be nice if some more goa-heads could join us there!! Are there any people interested?? And yes, can someone tell me if july is a "good" month for the parties on the beach or not?? The weather will be very hot and you'll also get wet every now and then. There won't be any regular parties there during the summer, but maybe you'll be able to catch something. Anyway, it'd be way cool to gather a group and go there. Or even better, Koh Chang near the Cambodian border, an awesome place with not much people, we could very well throw our own parties there. She cant come i think, but I would love to go. I was there 2 years ago, just missed a full moon part on koh poang yan, but some nice clubs on the beach, cheap accomadation ad lots fun! If you are serious, then email me closer to the date, like a6 weeks before you plan to get there, ineed four weeks to get off work, and will have some annual leave saved up :-) How long U going for?? Think of going to Malaysia as well, I stayed with some of the locals over ther and can show yu fun places to go to, and it is cheap to get to once u r in thailand :-) I would like to go for maybe 3-6 weeks if i am bothering to pay that much. am so interested tho :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Still at Railay beach, great atmosphere, lots of travellers, nice party's, relaxed! This is life! Heading for Koh Phan Gan tomorrow or the day after, we'll see! Charging the batteries over here, waiting for New Year's Eve and the Full Moon on the 29th! Everybody is talking about the party, lots of people are going! Bom bom bom! I missed you and tbe and mad at the Voov, although I felt that you guys were dancing somewhere around me many times, like on the Raja set. Too bad about that, I went looking for everyone at the meeting point, but couldn't find anyone. But yeah I've been saving money for some time now so I can afford to travel a lot, and I still want to party with you people from goatrance.free/psynews. I've never met any of you yet. And july is pretty far away. I may even be in Thailand anyway, because a friend of mine is planning to celebrate her birthday there with a couple of people. Guest kuldip Posted January 30, 2002 Share Posted January 30, 2002 Well we just been there on new year eve 31-12-2001 and so... it was such a good time there alot of freaks around nice place good envorment wicked music on the beach About how to get there if you are arriving at the bangkok airport then there is two ways to get to koh pha ngan.Right next to internation airport there is domestic flights (airport as well) right next to international airport you can take bus or you walk bus which is just out side the internationl aiport free shutel bus to domestic airport.Or you can travel by train Just go to train station there is many trains evry day and night you can take to Kho pha ngan. Well at the train station you can ask ticket to surathani. From surathani you can take bus which will drop you to ferry.Take this ferry to koh pha ngan. There would one stop before koh pha ngan ( i think KO SA MUI... not sure about this one) then next stop is koh pha ngan.When you buy train ticket you can also buy your ferry ticket at the same time( which will inculde you bus ride and ferry ride)at the train satation. You can also get by the plane but maybe expencive.By train you can tarvel 1st class which you can be in your compartment sleep very well. Also you can sleep in 2nd class your littel bed i am not sure about 1st class must be better then 2nd class which we travel in good enough. But don't travel with normal class it's not comfortable at all you have to sit like a cage This is what we did going to koh pan ngan But we was smart too on the way we have bought our train tickets that why we can travel in 2nd class on the way back. Train ticket coast us around 750 baht which is maybe 10 or 20US$ Which means thailand is cheap to live with 100 us for month You can eat as much as you want.You can ride the bike ofcus rent for day or more.Make sure if you take taxi in koh pan ngan not pay more then 50baht to go to one place to another.
