Events generally take place after dark, so I usually go with something sinister and driving. 'Tried putting on low-tempo stuff, but friends complained that "it didn't psyche them up enough."
Guest piginspace Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 OK, call me boring, but in my case it is very often the same album -- California Sunshine, Wonderland, usually the 2nd CD. It's got both very driving, hi-energy tracks (Black Moon!) that work pretty well for me to get into party mood on the way there and some happier, lighter tracks that work really nice in the morning, when I'm driving from the party, exhausted but happy. Ambient stuff goes well after parties too, obviously. Though sometimes I have to play something very hard really loud in the morning in order not to fall asleep while driving. X-dream and Parasense are especially good for this purpose.
Guest Ash Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 Hmmm... before the party - it is starting from "Planet Dog" old music and then something morning style with bright vibes, like maybe TanTrance 3 or some Finnish tracks from O*Men or Squaremeat.... And when I am going somewhere - definitely "Metal Spark", the album "Corrosive"

But before the party we always go to a place call Compass(Pyksida) and we just love to listen pure commercial @!#$ radio and drinking cheap greek coffee (50 cent) . In christmas also there was a live event in that place , two gypsies came in the shop and they played live with clarinets and drums , it was great....
