Guest Pratik Posted January 30, 2002 Posted January 30, 2002 i have been to nepal when i was 14. i stayed there for 2 months in kathmandu. its a nice spiritual country if u go to right places and stay away from regular tourist crowd. what i sudgest is to make friends with some body who has been there for long time but also keep in mind that the person is trust worthy. bcuz its more fun if u have somebody taking you every where rather then figuring out everything ur self. and instead of going to bars, casinos, malls; go to old temples where many tourists dont go or only the natives go. I wana go back to nepal some times this summer. its simply awsome.
Guest masativa Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 i wuz there in march last year and had a wonderful time. i believe you could catch some parties held in Pokhara. there isnt a big scene as to Manali or Goa but a nepali guy who organized a 3-day party in the mountains told me that he had plans doing it every full-moon. the guy was really nice and gave the whole crowd sport drink with floating acid blotters in them! enjoy if u have the oppurtunity!
