Guest Peter
After months of waiting, I got this: Dear music lovers, It?s sadly that we have to announce, after 3 months of living hell, that the June 2002 edition of the Transahara festival is now officially canceled. But first of all, we would like to thank all of you from all our hearts, for your positive support through email these last few months. Thank you for keeping this adventure alive. We are deeply sorry for not giving out any information about what has been going on lately, we definitely owe you guys an explanation. Since the start of the international crisis this fall, all we had was bad and uncertain news, while we couldn?t wait to put the official site online and announce the line up. This winter we lost some critical support and resources to give birth to the festival, the kind of support that guaranteed that our gathering would take place in the best conditions possible for every single living soul on the site. This is why we finally decided to wait until the next full moon of June, in 2003, to make sure that Transahara will be the most vibrating and enjoyable desert experience of a lifetime. You will of course be informed when the Transahara Crew awakes next summer, so please, stay tuned. The Sahara desert has been waiting for us five million years, we are pretty much positive it can take one more summer solstice. For those who have already planned to visit Morocco this summer, and we strongly encourage you to do so, there may be a trance gathering in the desert in the beginning of August, so your sun lotion may come handy after all :-) peaceloveunityrespect The Transahara Crew http://www.transahara.com
