Guest RooMusH Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 Boom! Me and a friend are from Belgium and are going to visit Budapest for a long weekend. We're looking out for the Infected live gig that's taking place then, the weekend of the 13th december! So actually I need some info about how to find the location, where it's at! Some route-description would be awesome. If you have other tips to make this trip fully psychedelic (good shops, nice bars, whatever...) please don't hesitate to scream them to us! Would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance. All for the music! Manu

Guest RooMusH Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 Bom bom bom boooom Anna! Aaaaah, such tips as you gave in Barcelona are more than welcome, so don't hesitate to mail those cosy nice places, bars, restaurants... You don't have to give me a whole list, just pick the few you like very much. I trust you on this, you have a good taste ;-) Also everything that's psytrance-related would be awesome... Still living for the music, as you know! Will there be a chance that you will be in Budapest for the Infected-gig? I would love to see you again, it's been too long!!! Psychedelic greetzzz and a big hug! By the way: thanks a lot malc for given info, I will surely give these spots a try!
Guest green mouse Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Manu...maybe we see in Belgium? how does this sound to you? which is your city btw, i have forgotten. so far nothing special to recommend....always check the program of these 4 clubs a38 kultiplex godor suss fel nap for top quality hungarian music, check Korai Orom and Anima Sound System if they are playing (not trance) somewhere while you are here, as djs also Korais Banditos, who are from Korai Orom gotta go now lots of smiles anna
Guest RooMusH Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 It would be great to see you in Belgium!!! Always welcome Anna, just drop me the dates on which you would like to come over, and I will arrange my schedule! Let me know and we will work it out. The city where I live is called Hasselt, near the Dutch border, near Maastricht! Looking forward to see you again, All for the music! Manu
Guest green mouse Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 Hey, Manu this is my last evening here, tomorrow I am off to Vienna....I am travelling around without any particular plans, so I will let you know when Belgium gets in the way....meanwhile if there is something special happening, you can drop me an email, and if i am nearby i can come so..what else to recommend? the best falafel wraps are at kiraly utca, close to its beginning (i.e. from where the numbering starts) there is some arabian restaurant, Ali something...the restaurant itself is good, and they have a street counter for take away duner (here called with the greek name gyros) and falafel....i am telling you this because the city is full of gyros-falafel places, but most of them are complete crap, while this one is quite good if you need a quick bite... for good coffee and nice atmosphere (also free internet, although there are cheap internet caffees everywhere) you can try eckermann, on Andrassy Utca my favourite bar for hot wine and other stuff is 6TUS (Sixtus), hm...the address??? From the outside it looks quite crappy, like a drunk hangout, but it is not...quite the contrary Szimpla seems to be very popular with the local young crowd, but is crap in my opinion, smells quite bad. if there is a cinetrip event while you are here, by all means check it out. flyers are posted on www.cinetrip.hu beware of hungarian food. sweet and sour to excess. go to a bathhouse...there are quite many....bring a pair of swim pants and good big towel. anything else?...can´t think of much else smiles! ps. why am i so lazy to log into my mail account and send you an email?
Guest RooMusH Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 And off we go, ready for a fully psychedelic Hungarian weekender!!! Thanks again Anna, much appreciated!!! Greetzzz, Manu
