Children Posted February 28, 2002 Posted February 28, 2002 Can you give us a brief description ? Might be interesting for people who think "oh @!#$ I can't do anything good with that" and hear your track made with the same equipment they have :-)

Guest Andreas of Amygdala Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 Digital Orhestrator Pro to keep my synths in tight formation - these are: Waldorf Microwave XT Roland JV-2080 Juno 106 Rolands old SH-1 - i think it's actually older than me MAM VF-11 Vocoder (to be honest, I don't remember if it's in Proprioception Malfunction...) Behringer mixer (which is crap as earlier stated ) SoundForge for processing audio - last and definetly worst: B&W Hifi speakers... What a turnoff...
Guest Masada Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 No hardware synths anymore! Just Cubase VST 5 and all VSTi's there is + almost all effects there is. We use tons of inserteffects on most sounds to twist them. Cheers, Masada
Guest Moai Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 Masada : Is hardware bad? Or is VST instruments getting better and better? peace!
Guest Masada Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 Hardware is absolutely not bad.. but expensive and takes a lot of room in a small apartment. VST istruments are getting better all the time, for sure. If someone offered us a pile of synthesizers and a bigger apartment, we would go for that. Peace, Masada

Guest suarajana of morphlab Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 """Is there somebody here who is using reason + cubase + vst'z/Dx/vsti'z????""" yeah booz-- i use reason+cubase+vsti's + dx effects + vst fx. but having only one monitor makes this a rather unpleasant experience cubase and all the softsynths and plugins available and you can make anything imaginable
