shpongled Posted March 14, 2002 Posted March 14, 2002 Hey... I like it..... something else for a change....
shpongled Posted March 14, 2002 Posted March 14, 2002 I forgot to say... that I don't like that name.... Underground is too chlise.... "Vibes" goes I quess but not Vibrations... just my opinion. I like the word Synesthetic (=something that causes to "see" sounds..... also notice that "Synes" is almost "Psynews")... but somebody should add some word after it.
Otto Matta Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 Holy crap, Shpongled! You got it!... "Psynewsthetic"!!! Sweet. I like it. EA
Guest Protex Midget Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 "Psynewsthetic:> That's a great name!
Children Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 Psynewsthetic ? Well ... maybe ... "Psynewsthetic Modulations", "Psynewsthetic Oscillations", "Psynewsthetic Vibes" ?
shpongled Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 I would take the W out.... it loses the cool meaning of the word if it's there.... jmo.
Children Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 I think putting psynews inside it isn't that good too. So : "Psynesthetic Modulations", "Psynesthetic Oscillations", "Psynesthetic Vibes" ?
Otto Matta Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 Then it would correctly have to be "Psynaesthetic..." Add the "a." But that would detract from the coolness of "Psynews" being in the title. Children, one-word names can be cool, you know (simplicity and succinctness). Often cooler than long, two-word names. EA Ahem. PSYNEWSTHETIC or P-Thetic for short. Hehehe. Kidding.
shpongled Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 Hmm... I don't understand what you mean with that A. ......?
ouroboros Posted March 16, 2002 Posted March 16, 2002 i like the idea but without the w to me it sounds like "sinus - thetic"
Otto Matta Posted March 16, 2002 Posted March 16, 2002 Shpongled - My mistake. The word can be spelled both ways: "Synesthetic" OR "Synaesthetic." Although "aesthetic" alone can only be spelled one way. How about these: SYNTH AESTHETIC SYNTHAESTHETIC PSYNTH AESTHETIC PSY TO THE nTH PSYNTHETIC ORGANISMS (a play on "psy," "synth," "synthetic," and the usually opposite meanings of "synthetic" and "organic") EA
Guest llazi Posted March 16, 2002 Posted March 16, 2002 geez, i thought i had 13 reply on my cover version.
shpongled Posted March 16, 2002 Posted March 16, 2002 Epic Automata... ok... I checked dictionary.com... so those words have same meaning but spelling is different.
