Guest Rémi Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 Who can bring me infos about Tarsis? (origine, members, etc etc) Thx! Quote
Guest Raider Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 The man behind Planet Ben, I think... best tracks? Broken and Skydiver. Quote
Guest reece Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 ummm, no. afaik not the man behind planet ben. pretty sure tarsis is mainly sebastian krueger (SBK) :-) Quote
Guest neomenia Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 linus wessel... mhhhhh, that reminds me of mos, digital sun and element, right? try it, specially element. Bom : } Quote
Guest [tom jaimz] Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 Tarsis is Sebastian Kruger on his own. Linus Wessel used to be a part of Tarsis, but only for the first two albums [Melt and Vacuum] and then left to form Space Fish and, I think maybe Sphere? Not sure. The G-Lock project is Seb on his own. Quote
Guest [tom jaimz] Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 As for more info.. uh.. started in 96 as Digital Sun with Victor Harder.. In 98 Victor left and Linus and Seb started to do Tarsis stuff.. uh.. releases from Tarsis include the Melt [Liquid Audio] and Vaccuum [spirit Zone] CDs, the Endless Rising, Broken and Toxication 12"s on Spirit Zone, Zombi Cocktail 12" on Liquid Audio Sounds.. remixes of Synchro's Next Stop Oblivion and a remix of Phoetus's Sparkling Soup.. Oh, Phoetus is a side project of Tarsis with DJ Dede, Vapour is a side project with Jeppe [Phony Orphants], and Disco Slickers is a side project with Mahasuka [Auricular]. Seb is now producing as G-Lock and SBK, Linus as Space Fish. Quote
Guest russ Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 tom, your encylopediac knowledge finally reveals a flaw. the disco slickers project is with mahasuka of intact instinct/peak pilots fame, not auricular (auricular is thomas johansson, ie dj mapusa mapusa, and daniel vernuft, ie shiva chandra). Otto Matta Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 Tip: Tarsis with Linus is better than Tarsis without Linus. Try Melt. Quote
