lt is well known that in a war the first victim is the truth. This is also the case in the war that Israel now has begun against “the terrorism infrastructure” in the Palestinian areas and towns.

It is helped with a massive military approach where way to many sources , independent from each other, talk about committed war crimes against the Palestinian civilians. This can not be excused as loose talk anymore. Intentional destruction of Palestinian property, common plunder of private homes, obstruction of international aid and medical assistance for wounded, deliberated shooting at target after international press, diplomats and international peace protesters which by the way all are banned from the war zone.

The Israeli government and all others that have followed the tormented region are very well aware of that this war can’t eliminate terror but on the contrary make it worse. Terror against civilians is terrible and must be condemned but the Palestinian terror has a broad following of acceptance in the Arab and Muslim world as the only defence weapon against a way too powerful occupation force. That does not make it more sympatic but it does make it very present and therefore a thing that can be dealt with.

lt is also correct that the Israelis has elected a “war hungry” ex-general as their Prime Minister. Ariel Sharon is a man who’s career is stained by civilian blood back in the 1950’s and a man that has a agenda beside the “elimination of the terrorism infrastructure” a agenda to see all of Israel united with “Eretz Yisrael” the biblical name of the West Bank. This man is elected as the leader in a country that has more symphony orchestras per. citizen than any other country on this planet

- a country that call itself “the only” democracy in the middle east.

On the other of Sharon side we find Yassir Arafat that has build the Palestinian nationalism. His methods have never been very neat, his relationship with the truth has mildly put been very creative and his relationship with democracy has always been non existing.

His past as a terrorist is notorious (as Sharon’s terror époque is evident). Arafat is also very present as a representative for the Arabs that were driven out of the 78 percent of the British mandate area - Palestine - when the Jewish state was declared and build in 1948 as a result of an emotional understandable but political western compassionated error for the survivors of the holocaust.

But the state of Israel is very present now and that should not and will not be changed and Arafat understood that as early as 1988. And less than a week ago all of the Arab world understood and agreed that Israel should be regionised as a legit state if Israel can accept to live on the 79 percent of the Palestine area that in 1967 was the declared and build as Israel.

Israel has not yet accepted that. More than 400.000 Jews in the occupied and annexed territories talk their own language.

Sharon’s war has only one purpose and that is to maintain the control of the west bank - called “Judea and Samaria” - in Israeli radio and TV.

The lie that are served every day to the scared Israeli public is that Arafat said “no” in July 2000 when he was offered a “whole” Palestine with it’s own flag, national melody and capitol in East - Jerusalem.

The Israeli pathetic foreign minister, Shimon Peres, is repeating and repeating the lie with a parrot’s routine. But Arafat said “no” to unacceptable conditions:

A bit more than 90 percent of the occupied areas, Israeli control of Islamic holy mosques on the temple mountain and no negotiating about the 3.5 million deported refugees.

The terror can be dealt with by redrawing all Israeli military and settlers from the occupied territories. That is the reality and it is furthermore approved by the international community.

EP - I thought you were about to make some far-fetched analogy to the process of writing music and participating in a contest. Hehe. LOL. :)

"This is my opinion: A contest is like a war. With that said, I don't like any of these songs." Hehehe. :) EA

Ho ho ho! Oprah, you witch...I got something in store for you and Martha. Just wait... As of now though, gaze in horror at the mere sight of the following:

Quite a hairraiser, isn't it (and no, I do not refer to the popular comedy featuring the demonic Pinhead...)? I know since old times how much the two of you despise bad taste and silly haircuts, so that should hurt enough for now...I shall speak later of exactly how much I favour cackling doves before decent haircuts.
