Guest Brain
BUT the price for that event is 30 euros... I think that this is too much to pay for listening just one group live.. Why is so expensive nowadays to listen to a group live? Is this situation similar to other countries as well (I am from Greece) ?? Some years ago i could go to a party and pay less than 15 euros, why these days is so expensive to go to a nice party ? Are the artists who need more money , the labels or the organizers or all of them? -stay psychdelic-
Guest unit
I think it's abit too expensive aswell.. If I go to a party in Copenhagen for example it'll cost me around 80 euros if you include the travel cost, so unfortunatly with my student income I can't go there very often. The ticket price is usually around 20 euros there and I think that's expensive too, but mabey it isn't? I don't know how much it costs to rent DJ's and live acts. But if I remember it correctly the ticket price for voov expierence was only about 45 euros and then you'll get three days of partying with lots of live acts/dj's aswell. Guest Setsuko
i think that's normal ... how are the artists supposed to make money then with all the mp3 hype ... imo they have no other choice and i'm sure the line-up of the dj's is also pretty interesting ... i dunno ok € 30 is pretty much but i guess it the party will be worth the money. live is expensive ! everything costs more and more these days ... Guest Brain
To Trancer : File mallon tha pao an kai tous exo ksanadei paliotera se live kai ontos paizoune gamata.. alla ta lefta einai polla .... 10.000 draxmes gia na akouso 1-2 ores etnica live??? Setsuko i think that is not normal at all .... and here why is not normal: The previous year i was living in UK and i went several times in Tyssen street (London) and i had the chance to see live Etnica again (Nitrox album launch party) and Dino Psaras by paying 12 pounds (around 20 euro). Another example ... i payed around 45 euro to go to Solaluna Festival the previous summer, and there i enjoyed listening for 3 days more than 15 different live perfomances .... Something is not balanced correctly ? or is just me ? -stay psychedelic-
Guest Stamper
Here in Belgium ordinary parties cost between 3 & 10 euros ... With a famous live-act it can cost 15 euros ... so I wonder why those parties in Greece are so expensive ...? Perhaps you should try organising one yourself and find out why all that money is needed ...

Guest Goazzz!!!
Brain, i'm 100% with you!!! Prices here in Greece getting more and more expencive!!! 30 euros is quite much money for the Greeks to pay for a live act, if you consider the average monthly salary of the country!!! Almost all the parties have a minimum 25 euros entrance fee here!!! I don't know why this is happening..... There are other place that you can listen some local Djs but.....as you can understand people are forced to pay all these money to listen to their favourite artists!!! Personally, i'm not going to the Ethnica's live tommorow cause i've heard in the past Ethnica playing live(twice) and secondly i don't want to pay 30 euros just for a 1-2 hours live!!!! To my Greek friends=> An den to exete katalavi akoma, oi tipoi ekmetalevontai thn agapi mas gia tin mousiki kai ta konomanai kala!!!! This is not the Psychedelic Spirit that we all used to know all these years!!!
Guest beuh-air
etnica live sucks.... imo i saw them couple times, and every time it was so booooooring but i'm not a great fan of what they do ...
tbe
In france, 30 € for a party, it's expensive too.. 20 € this would be a better price !
Guest trancer
Etnica are sooooooo good..i can't find words..
Guest Firestorm
Well, I can tell you that the tickets for Astral Projection in Belgium won't be cheap either. Astral asks 5000 euro just to play, plus you gotta pay for them to stay here a week in a hotel + feed them.....then pay for a party location big enough for 1000 people..... Anoebis
well, 30 euros is definetely way TOOOO much!! In fact I will never go to a party in Belgium that costs MORE then 15 euros, and I'm sure there are alot people here that think that's the maximum price!! I mean, try organising parties yourself and DON'T want any profits, and you can have big names with a low entrance-price!! I do parties myself, next time with battle buddhas & ka Sol, and the entrance will cost 10 euros, and the party will be rather small (400 people) The psynews party will probably cost 12 euros with a HUGE line-up... So it all depends on how much the organisers want to earn I think... Ps: Firestorm... how much will the tickets for AP cost?? Any idea? And are you the organiser? Guest sudh1r
nowadays the promoters, bands, labels etc... are only interested in making money, specially Etnica which changed their style to sell more albums
Guest hoffy
@!#$ it, i don't care how expensive it is.. if i lived in greece i'd go no matter what. If Etnica played *LIVE* in my sunny city (Melbourne, Australia), I'd pay whatever it costs to see them and double it for some great quality (quantity?) liquid acid and MDMA How can you put a price on having a mindblowing dancefloor experience???? Guest Firestorm
"Ps: Firestorm... how much will the tickets for AP cost?? Any idea? And are you the organiser?" don't know about the tickets yet, but if I do I'll let ya know :-) I'm not the organiser but the dude who does it lives in my hometown.... Dammit, I'm looking forward to this one, imagine it: 1000 freaks going bananas to 'Dancing Galaxy', better than sex, baby! And of course there is PLUR4 too, Battle of the Future Buddhas and K-Sol, whoooooooaaaaaa. Belgie boven, hehe ;-))
