Guest mijis
yea this happens a lot in mexico city at the avangarde club , they announce a super star dj and when the time comes they say he missed the flight , they do that for publicity. Guest seb
funny ... I think that we were booked to play there but they cansled our gig ... I'm not sure bot I think that the club were called avangarde ... I don't like that either because the promotor always blame the artist. Guest bugbread
Doesn't happen here (people would probably never go to a party by that organizer again), but it did happen when Paul van Dyk was going to come. Lots and lots of disappointed people. But they put a lot of fliers outside apologizing, they gave back money to anyone who had already bought tickets, and they also gave coupons for a discount on any event held in the next 6 months, so people weren't too upset. Guest Goagabba
Yeah happenes everywhere. We were waiting for Antaro to arrive in England last year, but something about not feeling well, missing the plane. Oh well.
Guest v4K
jejeje, that kind of @!#$ hapens everywhere, the only diference is the excuses that the organizers give. Last weekend Shiva Chandra was suposed to play in Guadalajara, Mexico and just to start, they changed the place of the party at the last hour for an other one that was fuckin' far away from the first pace; the music started at 2:30 AM... can you belive that @!#$???? and on top of that, the promoters tolld the people that the Shiva Chandra name on the flyer was a mistake, it suposed to be a mexican live act that sounds like the Shiva Chandra name and they got mixed up... ...my ass
