Guest Phaedrus
AP of course... Oforia - Delirous - Kick ass album, one of my favorites! I personally would not call it morning music (with the exception of a couple tracks). With more and more full-on dancefloor tracks coming out (examples - lots of the 3D Vision stuff), are DJ's consciously changing what they consider a night, and thus morning track? Sorry to go off on a tangent, but that is one thing that bothers me slightly about some of the connoisseur's of this music - that only certain types of music are considered for play during the "night" hours, and that some very good melodic tracks get no play... It seems these "rules" go against a lot of the things goa-heads are supposedly all about. Not trying to start a flame war, just curious on other people's opinions.... When I start DJ'ing (assuming anyone wants to hear me play), the only rule will be, if its good and will get the dancefloor moving, play it. Getting back to your original question - Other melodic stuff I like in addition to the above mentioned artists - Deedrah, Green House Effect, and Yahel. Guest [tom jaimz]
I want you all to grab a pen and a yellow post-it, and write the following. Night Music -> Potential Energy. Morning Music -> Kenetic Energy. And then, while you're a tad baffled and not thinking straight, quickly scribble in the following. Melodic Goa -> Best Left At Home.
