Trolsk
I just got my hands on what is credited as being Dino Psaras remix of Eurythmics Sweet Dreams. Is he seriously playing this track in his live sets? That distorted fake electric guitar, I've never heard anything sound as awful. I'm thinking that the tune I have could be a fake by some kid. The tune is 4.38 long, there's a break at 2.23 and build up until 2.43 and then there's a sudden stop at 3.35 but unfortunately (!!!) the tune continues for another minute. There's no singing, just the melody. *shudder* np: Aimee Mann - One (Rude Ass Tinker Remix) <--- That is a fun remix
DeathPosture
I'm afraid it's real.. Or rather, it was released as an Atomic white label... Tortured Brain - Sweet Dreams or something smiliar... But I agree, it sucks beyond words! DP
Neophyte
The Fungus Funk remix of Mindfields by Prodigy is pretty nifty, speaking of covers. (Does a remix have to be of a band to be considered a cover?) I dunno if any of you were ever fans of Depeche Mode, but Rabbit In The Moon has an excellent remix of 'Waiting For The Night' (not Psytrance, though..) out there. lectrolux
(Does a remix have to be of a band to be considered a cover?) A 'cover' is when nothing is sampled from the original, ie any vocals, loops etc are re-recorded.... the original artist is not entitled to royalties if this is the case. Otherwise the remix is considered a 'bootleg' remix if it samples direct from the original recording
