Where do you ppl buy your CDs?

i nearly buy everything over the internet with the usual stores: saikosounds, recordstore.co.uk, the labels direct, psyshop and so on. we have one goa store here with vinyls and cds and also cloths. but cds are more expensive than when i buy them on the net. one e-shop i buy a lot is also here in switzerland so i don't have to use creditcard and they send factures. they are a little slow with the news but that's not too bad. i can still use other shops from outside when i can't wait to get my hands at new stuff....

I visited Taboo once ( its only 3 hours of travelling) and I was quite happy with the 4 cd's I bought there. I'm gonna go there this summer again when I visit Senseblender 2002. Anyway, the shops I visit on a weekly base here are the Groove Connection ( which isn't catching up on new releases fast enough for my taste, still waiting for the Nomad and Violet vision albums there, or Dimitris Dat bag for instance)| They have a rather poor choice considering it's supposed to be a specialised shop and the only one in Amsterdam.

 

Fame ( which has a rather poor collection, but I did get Psysex-Hardcore Blastoff there) and Boudisque ( the shop used to have some stuff, but since I gave the adress away in the 'shops' section...) occasionally have stuff. Apart from that I order stuff at psyrecordshop.com and bol.com( which sometimes has nice stuff and you pay when you get it).

 

There is some psytrance thus, but ambient is hard to come by around here. Shpongle is nicely obtainable, but try makyo or 'fahrenheitproject, part one'...

Yes, I think the store was Megahertz - I remember it was on the corner of the mall.. and yes, it was expensive. :-)

Well I got about 25% of my current psy collection from my local Saturn (Germany) but they don't really have a big selection (any more;) They get most of their stuff from German labels such as Nova Tekk, Spirit Zone, BTM, Insolation. But sometimes Twisted as well, and Spiral Trax and Digital Structures and BNE. But as I said, not much.

So generally I order my CDs at Psyshop by COD, they're not too expensive and really quick also (shipping takes about a week, sometimes less).

Sometimes Chaishop too, for the Mushroom-magazine

I always shop online at www.Saikosounds.com. I've ordered *hundreds* of titles from them (nearly a thousand!) with excellent service.

 

other good stores are www.spectralpsy.com, www.chaosexistence.com, www.psyshop.com (although i've heard of the occasional problem with psyshop i've never had a problem. i did maybe, 10 orders from them and they did help out when a mistake was made...)
