I have the chance to get Vol.1 and Vol.3 from Virgin Megastore, and I want to know if they really are value for money. I have a lot of the tracks on other albums/compilations but there are some that I have never heard of and wonder if they are value for money. I can just afford them.

get them mike, i picked up the original (uk) tip ones in HMV for about a fiver each (no idea what that is in aus$ but it's piss cheap basically) the ones you know are the ones you know but there are some corkers there as well, plus the production is cute and it just has a nice very blippy bubbly vibe.

Colours of Shiva 1:

TIP Yellow & Orange (and you are asking if you should get these?)

Colours of Shiva 2:

TIP Blue & Phosphorescent (very good, though lost some of the genuineness of the first compilations)

Colours of Shiva 3:

TIP 3D & Singles 1 (OK, though the 3D is quite average...except for the best GMS & Process tracks ever!)

they're all absolutely essential compilations, but imo the best one is colours of shiva 2 :) might be merely a matter of personal nostalgia though ;)
