Guest russ
i am listening to the new MOS album right now, and it is an absolute bomb. i think they have the biggest sound around right now. this is even better than the new X-Dream and Midimiliz in my opinion, and it is MUCH better than the Delta, and i am only on track 3! good god, this is going to rip up the dance floors this summer. soem aeld
Wow, sounds awesome!! I was just about the buy "Meter", maybe I should wait for this CD?
Guest peter
take both. they are very different from each other. or listen to them first and then decide which one is better for you.
Guest russ
i would certainly buy meter (and bug too!), but in my book this one is better than meter.

Guest russ
i just finished listening to it a second time, and i am at a loss for words... perfection...pure drive...dark hypnotic bliss. every single track is a 10/10 standout. this is far and away the best release since son kite's "perspectives of..." last year, with the same massive, monumental production, but for the night. as far as production standards go, for me this is the new benchmark. first there was hallucinogen, then radio, then son kite, and now Drive. some might say it is derivative of the marcus/jan/arne/wayan crew, and they would be right, but that doesn't take anything away from this achievment, because it's BETTER than X-Dream. the first part of the album tears your head off, the middle slows the beat but keeps the intenisty high and stretches your mind, and the final part settles you into a deep groove, before finishing with a track of sublime beauty. if you own a small field and have $50,000 to burn, you could do worse than buy two stacks of Funktion-One Resolution speakers, set up a couch, light a giant spliff, drop this cd into the machine, and then learn the meaning of DRIVE...coming soon this summer to a big sound system near you... Guest carbon
i'll agree: an excellent album, but dont ask for any surprises: very similar to meter. cd
Otto Matta
My interest was peaked until that last post. I thought Meter was weak compared to other tech music. My opinion. (I liked Bug, though, for different reasons.)
Guest russ
this is much better than meter (which had nice points but overall a disappointment to me after the glorious bug). drive has fatter production and is more psychedelic and deep.

Jon Cocco
I wonder what became of the review thread for this one. I can't find it on here. Their page on Psyshop's been sitting in my bookmarks since 2002. The damn thing hasn't been available to order or buy anywhere. I found it on amazon.co.uk I found it! See the first link below. It's expensive too I think. How many dollars is £10.23 anyway? One £ = ? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B...5720&sr=1-1 Samples: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/gtn/gtn1cd103.html http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=2548 I've wanted this album for years. Basilisk
Worth it though... Drive is a fantastic album, and still somewhat hard to get.

Oopie
Mos BUG is super :posford:I also like it. Very nice sort of goa-ish early progressive, a bit in the same vein as Shiva Chandra's deput. Yeah back on topic, where is MOS? I want new album already!
RTP
I also wonder what's up with them, I like MOS a lot Haven't heard anything from them for a long time ... their last released track I was aware of was Fire on Goa-Head 18 and it was an absolute monster (and it is their last released track according to Discogs...)... their website also hasn't been updated since 2 years (that's even quite exact)... I hope they didn't stop
Guest The Journey Man Project
TWould love them to do a nice follow up to Drive... it had a very nice acid techno sound to it
