Ormion
Like them? I do!! This is one of the reasons that Old School is the best! Might sound a bit "cheap" today but I just love them. And here is a list with my fav 303 lines.... GMS-Jaws Alphanaut-New Shoes 303 insanity to the MAX in both of these tracks! Also: Cosmosis-Gift Of The Gods Psygone-Psyquest,Outer Limits & Tasmania Quirk-Dimension Disco

ukiro
Green Nuns - "Cor".... the one after the breaks is just so lovely. and how could I forget: P.Cok - "Double Doper" - Not sure if it's really a 303 or some clone (Jannis? you know?) but HOLY HELL it's got some amazing acid lines! Spindrift
I like them mostly for basses, like in most of the old tip stuff. Otherwise Highscore Xor -True Freedom spring to mind as one great 303 track. Some of the earlist stuff with 303...before acid music even existed was frontline assembly. Can't recall now what tracks in specific, but quite inspiring stuff worth checking out for some ways to make more original sounding lines. Most of the time they can have a tendency to destroy perfectly good tracks many times. Like the Juptier 8000. Could IMO been a very great and refreshing album, but the 303's really get to me and I can't really stand it.

ukiro
Josh Wink - Higher states of consciousness. Nuff said 216707[/snapback] I believe thats some clone synth and not a real 303, actually =) EDIT: ok so now I looked it up and it mght have been some modified 303 so I'm half wrong it seems. AmithabaBuddha
use a saw wave , put some Q , distort it , play with the cutoff freq and youll get a 303. Most of Goa use a 303 sound , but its not obrigatory to use a TB-303 to get it (like Cosmosis did) , the only thing it differs its the accent , no accent on the TB clones , but i want to see any producer make a 303 soundlike , like on Laughing Buddha - Karma.... the most goa 303 killer artist you can find is Tufaan and Green Nuns of the Revolution. Kinda harsh for me now , tough.

A true piece of music history. Although there are some better remixes than the original one.
Cybernetika
Hiscore Xor - True Freedom is indeed one of the best. But why not mention some acid classics: Solar Quest - Acid Air Raid is the best for sure
