I liked very much Orichalcum album and Alienated is the same guys, so it should be equally good. Any comments? Quote
Guest russ Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 I just got it today, and it is a real mindfuk, very much in line with earlier alienated/orichalchum works. if you have the orichalchum live album, you know the style. very fast, very complex, extremely densely layered. i would say this is a breath of fresh air--not a hint of progressive influence, clubby influence, techno influence, or minimal influence. this is just full-on mental music. strap on your seat belt... Guest russ Posted December 7, 2001 Posted December 7, 2001 that makes sense that they are old. they sounded like a blast from the past; i guess that's because they are truly from the past. it's a bit dissappointing to hear that they haven't been doing much lately, but it's also a good sign that the music is still cool (even if my first instinct was to pitch the whole thing down 4%!) darko, do you happen to know which tracks on the album are new?
