Ov3rdos3
has anyone heard this album? i recently lent it from a mate and it is very very good. IMO. how would you classify this style of Psy though? its very hard and dark, but it is definitly not full-on at all. almost very industrial. more like this please!! anyone know anything similar to PPS Project? Cybernetika
Oh yeah, I love this one! You should get the Comp "Nocturnal Imprints". PPS appears on it with their masterpiece "Icon", and the rest is terrific Dark Psy too. "Entropy - The Second Law of Thermodynamics" would probably fit as well. Then there's the track "Bon - Problem Child" And maybe Hujaboy, especially his track "Save Ass".
lumpi
yep, love it too! I think there´s nothing really similar out there. The only ones which come eventually close are the first two compilations from "Horns and Hoofs rec", "Boo Reka - Corrupt Data Factory", maybe "Hujaboy - Hujajoy" as Cybernetika already mentioned, perhaps some Boshke Beats stuff... or some MOS... apart from that I can´t recall anything else. Quark
Ov3rdos3 that's a hard question.. Very hard.. It is kind of a unique style, but as already mentioned. Hujaboy/Boo Reka, would somehow be the nearest you come. Maybe some of the MidiMiliz/Spirallianz would fit too.. I don't know.. Maybe Fletcher Mundson Syndrom - Clubkraft... Maybe 3.Turn... Take care, and good luck hunting those tracks
Basilisk
I hope there's going to be another boo.reka album with better production... I like some of those songs but they sound rather bad when mixed with most other material of that nature. Still, very hellish. There is not enough hell in today's music! Ov3rdos3
sh1t, how could i forget Authentic - pre-amplified, that cd is hard as fcuk. also very similar to pps project. not as industrial though. there is one choon on preamplified that starts off with the sickest, fattest, nastiest bassline ever. cant beleive that cd just slipped my mind. Quark
Exsactly, but I was listening to some Tetraktys tracks today, and Sphere is not 100% PPC Project, but damn, this track is awesome, I love it!!!
