(HB beeing more minimal) The melodie come so smooth, and the subtle changes, many layers, progressing kick that roll along. They are sssoooo goooddd. It sounds so updated.... Anybody know other artists that are similar to those?? aaahhh.... and that is my answer to the topic refering who I'd like to see working together. PLUR Quote

Guest carbon Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 i'd have to disagree... astrix has an undeniable 'israeli' sound to it, although with lots of deep progressive elements. human blue has gone through different phases- older stuff is more melodic, tracks they've released since are very minimal, and i can't wait to get the new album... similar artists i'd recommend: blue planet corporation, atmos, mumbo jumbo; astrix has collaborated with a few artists (atomic pulse, cant remember the others)producing some very nice tracks (similar to his own) so you might want to check out their sound. cd Quote

Guest didge Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 I reckon it's been done very nicely a few times - it's a chilled relaxed (but not slow) style and Blue Planet Corp got me into it first (and I still looooooooove that cd). And with the Israeli stuff comps like Israeliens 3, Tribal Dance Experience from Hommegga do good jobs imo of the scando sound with israel influences. Artists like Hujaboy, Maskalin, GHO & Psycraft (uneffinbelievable) have all pulled it off, as smoothly if not more smoother than cosma (but i still love this). Seriously, this is the sound i love - and there isn't much out there - but the production is just so beautiful, there is always a wicked "chilled" element to it, and the music still stays reasonably fast and entertaining. The perfect morning chunes. Quote
