Daniël
I'm not sure what your problem is. your english is not very clearly! sorry dude. But i'll give it a try. 1.To change the lenght of a pattern you can go to paino roll (right mouse click on a channel) or use the box with -- on the upper left of the step seq. But working in piano roll is much better cause it ahs an automatic cut off at the end of a note. You can change the lenght of the notes. 2. To make a sound of 16 notes lenght with only 1 step you need to change the rel(ease) on the envelope of a synth. you can make them longer or shorter. I hope i answered your're question & otherwise, sorry, i tried here is how i make my melodies: 1.fill in a random ritmic on 1 note. like 1010 0010 1010 0010 (1 are 1/4 notes) 2. save it as a score. 3.Make a melody with 4 full notes 4.press alt-u to chop. 5. fill in the pattern at the playlist, like 4 times to 17. 5.select new pattern 6.Go to synth, play around with the buttons, if you find a good one to tweak, like the cut. then rightclick, edit events. press page down, press the area under 17& press alt O for LFO & fill in a wave. 7. add some extra spice with FXmixer & be happy So 2 patterns here make up mel. 1 for the notes & 1 for the LFO. enjoy creation! Hope i helped
