Anoebis Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 What an album, those tracks are among the best I ever heard (except the ones with the stupid vocals) I don't like the trance side too much, but the ambient side is really awesome, anybody knows anymore ambient that has the same happy atmosphere and great structure? healium Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I agree with Anoebis - great album... The tracks are so catchy and unique - there's no other downtempo album that sounds anything like Converting Vegetarians - it's experimental but they just make it work so well... Quote
Guest Rain Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Well preciously sombedy who also like that part of CV... safe... I love it I see a lot bashing IM (true or not true don't care)... but this side rules... it's different comparing to other psy ambient... It's more like psychedelic electro... And I have been searching a while for music like this anoebis but haven't found anything yet... closest I found was abakus - that much closer to the sun maybe compilation 'another life', some tracks are in that direction... shaman of sound Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 manny poeple see the other side as the real jem of converting vegetarians Quote
Cinos Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I don't like it. The whole album was mediocre, barely saved by Albibeno, Deeply Disturbed and Yanko Pitch... Quote
Dajek Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 The Other Side isn't ambient, guys. Ps. on topic - I really like most of the tracks from that side... though I ave something against I Wish . Quote
psytones Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I really really love the Other Side. It's really original, playfull and it doesnt take it self so serius. It's a fun trip album imo. Mushrooms + Other Side = anyone tried it? Quote
halee Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 certainly differnt but I say people that dont know them and listen to that side think it sucks but then the other side and they realy love it personaly I think in some of the tracks it has great use of female vocals. Quote
traveller Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 the first time i listened the other side thru i really did enjoy it, the second time it was okay and the third just boring.. Quote
Guest al3xandar Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 From always I liked Infected Mushrooms only as Ambient artists...nothing more. And Classical Mushroom is master piece, too bad it is the only one... Quote
fosku Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 the first time i listened the other side thru i really did enjoy it, the second time it was okay and the third just boring.. 223630[/snapback] With me it was just the opposite, I like it more and more every time I listen to it... And BTW what is wrong with the vocals?? I think they're great! Quote
