Basilisk Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Anyone know a good one for sound forge? Need to tinker with some wave files... clean off some noise. I keep forgetting that every time I reset my computer the volume control goes whack and unmutes the 2nd line-in, dousing everything in crispy noise. Then I go spend 3 hours putting a mix together... maybe some NR could take care of this problem? PM me if you like... thanks. Quote
Philter Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 If you are trying to get rid white noise then try "Denoiser" from steinberg, its a very old plug but it works, well with a litle tweeking. Alternativley you could use Sonic Foundrys "Noise Reduction". Hope that helps you. P.S. A litle Postit note on your monitor saying "Mute Line in 2" may also do the trick Quote
Basilisk Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 I seem to be sorted... thanks Yes a post-it note will come in handy... I'm just boggled because I could have sworn I remembered from the last time this happened... argh Quote
ajay_spunky Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 the noise reduction filter in cool edit pro works fine Quote
