Guest David
Just having technical abilities does'nt mean you will be good. Good DJ's know when to do an intro/outro fade or drop a valley groove. Having good technical skills does'nt mean one must hsow off or showcase those skills. Its all about balance and using all methods and skills. Every mix does'nt have to be beatmatched, but a dJ that can't mix does'nt have the option. I don't want to go up and down with each track, but I don't want to stay at one point for hours. The middle path is the way. The music should breathe, but the sets and nights are journey, not the individual tracks. I'm talking about Aeon from Dallas, not the other one(s). - David
Guest bugbread
Good answer...perhaps too often a technically proficient DJ is also considered a "good" DJ...Not true in my opinion... Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes...quite drunk now.
