Punit Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Hi I am an amateur DJ. Play only at my private parties & friend’s parties, Max crowd 30-40 people. I want to buy a pair of active speakers & have narrowed down my choice to Mackie SRM 350 http://www.mackie.com/products/srm350/index.html Peavey PR15 http://www.peavey.com/products/browse.cfm/...+Technology.cfm Both of these are roughly in the same price range (the Peavey’s are a little cheaper) & I cannot afford anything higher than this. Can you please recommend which one’s to buy? Thanks Sorry if this is off-topic, didn't know where else to post it. Quote
Subsonik Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Mackie make some excellent speakers. I think I'd go with the SRM 350's myself. Looks like a very good price if you ask me. Quote
Subsonik Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 How much can you get those mackie's for??? In Europe they go for around E400. Quote
Punit Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 The mackies are available here for US$ 545 each. Quote
