natkejs
Hey guys, long time no see I'm looking for new impressions... could you guys recommend me some progressive or minimal... or why not combine it! Been on the road so haven't really kept up. Of course I'll contribute... New (?) compilation Magnetic Storm sure is worth listening to if you're in to these kind of sounds. I also listened to the new InterPhaZe album briefly but I wasn't "THAT" impressed, can't remember falling in to any real special state of mind while listening to it as I usually do when it's over the top. Looking at a little older stuff I'm still going strong with the compilation Minimal Ritual (oh-la-la!) and also Kruger & Coyle with Randy Expander still keeps a constant smile on my face. But I'm sure you're familiar with these already Take care guys! Peac
Manuser
Great progressive I heard recently : Sensifeel - Vision of life, not new, 2004, Lish - Free fall , 2005 (both are a bit similar, sunny progressive). Tegma - 002 Avant.Garde is excellent (2005), it is progressive in some way, not minimal. I can't help about minimal, I didn"t really listened to minimal recently. Ormion
I HATE Minimal but here are some intersting dark minimal groups: Boo-Reka Pixel (not all his track) Platform Insect Sun
Dragonflier
Not quite recent, but Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom (M.O.S.) is the best minimal stuff out there. Get anything from them. XV Kilist is another artist I'd check out.
furthur
Well, for prog, look further donw on this page, or else I might post some suggestions if I get bored later. For minimal however, do check out Intelligent Manipulation compilation and actually anything that comes out on Zenon or Groove Zone lately. Also Battle Royal by ZMA had some nice minimal stuff. Interzone 2 was a very nice compilation as well with a gem from Sven Snug. If you want older minmimal releases, I highly recommend Set 2 by Iboga, and of course Pieces INcrease by Digital Structures as well as Perspectives Of... by Son Kite. Sensient's album is very very good indeed (needs to be heard as a whole album). Also check out the older Plusquam releases. Even Shaman had some minimal moments in Foretaste (a very interesting album that took me a shitload of listens to finally understand it). The essential piece for minimal imo is Eyes Rolling by Zenon. Brilliant.

For minimal, check out their older stuff. Gold. 248911[/snapback]

sherlockalien
vibrasphere, antix, phony orphants (the older was better imo), vision and canedy, buzzmonx, emok, ticon, etc... for some older stuff: m sphere - roots visual paradox - laughing dog on bog (too bad nowadays V.P. is bad full on imo) Frogacult - Beware of the sand etc and then, since you like Krueger and Coyle, which borders with the house / prog house territory, I would suggest checking out other stuff like these awesome tracks (gonna say tracks, because if I say cds or vynils it will be too much to check out) : Pig and Dan - Addiction Nufrequency - 808 (the original, not any of the remixes or dubs) martin h and oliver klein - club game (dj nukem remix) nick and john dalagelis - bend up (stel and goodnewz mix) Simon and Shaker - La Nueva greed - sandrushka (andre absolut remix) infusion - love and imitation

sherlockalien
oh yeah ´sonic cube´ too... it was highly ignored, I dont know why, but some good tracks from them like the ´Sonic Cube - Anyone in NY´ track was very very good at the time... still is pretty good actually
pr0fane
The Sonic Cube album is indeed a very good mix of mellow housey grooves and more trancey sounds. 2 of the guys from Sonic Cube are also known as the progressive psy project Sonnenvakuum (someone mentioned them earlier), while the last member is Tobi Wirz - better known under his soloproject Greed. He's also the owner of the label SOG Records, who have released tracks from artists like Minilogue (Son Kite sideproject), New Disco Science Alliance (Ticon sideproject), Inkfish and André Absolut. Not really sure if it would fit the taste of the original poster though.
