Carnage Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 143 bpm http://briefcase.walla.co.il/data/c/a/r/n/...ull_On_Test.mp3 I want to know if I'm on the right way... And what do you think about the base sounds? Sounds good or like amature? It's just a TEST. Thanks, Carnage. Quote
qa2pir Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I don't know genres and stuff but i think you should replace the melody with several melodies that are linked together,a little more subtle. Also, a longer melody at 2 bars instead of one would make it more relaxing i think. The kick sounds tight and the cymbal rhythm is ok. What is it you want us to comment? Quote
Carnage Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 I updated the melody and the Kick. Check it out now. Thanks for the comment. Relaxing? Maybe... But I'm more into a dark one right now :] What is it you want us to comment? 253563 Well, the basic sounds... If they're all fit together... If they are sound like one group... Quote
dj mylo Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I would call it "Goa" more than "Full-on". Sounds quite vintage 90's. With a loop this tight it's difficult to say! Make more Quote

So set your ambitions a bit lower, at least to start with. Quote

Digital Psyence Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 The producers produce them self hard life... 253661 Very true, but as soon as i have got one of my tracks on a compilation - or even released a album, then i can die as a happy man Quote
Chemical Reaction Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 The bass and kick do not fit, and this is not a full on bass sound. You have to keep working, make many tracks and you will find the right formula for you. Peace Quote
Daniël Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 But as much as your ambition is to get to their level... Then you'll get there much faster. 253602 I've been an artist all my life. film, photography, later on painting, music & 3D stuff etc.... and i can tell you, having ambition was my biggest mistake ever! It's a disease that can make you fascinated. And fascination makes you blind. And when you blind you can't find stuff that you allready have/had. ok, enough emotional gibberish... let's get back on topic... can't listen to the loop right now, but i will later on this day.
