Aeros
Finished this beautiful 12 minute long melodic goa track about 20 minutes ago. Eagerly expecting some feedback Click to Listen "Music is an Experiance, a very powerful thing to me. I try my best to create music that can pass on the Experiance. Synogen is my project where I try to convey the power of an image into music, to produce an experiance like no other. The name Synogen roughly comes from the combination of the prefix Syn and the suffix Gen to form a word that loosely means "One that produces Unity - Togetherness". I like the idea of my name being an adjective for a kind of music that brings the people together. Kinda cliche, but it has some value for me "

Carnage
Beautiful. Sounds like Astral Projection. Too bad I needed to hear it on stream... :\ In what synth do you use for those melodies?

Aeros
I used a custom made synth in FM7 for the bassline (close to a distorted sinwave), then I layer in some TS404 at 0:45ish, add another FM7 bassline meldoy layer at 1:09, then 3xOsc mimicking a TB-303 at 2:00. The other melodies are build ups of 2 more FM7 layers mixed with the original bassline FM7 layer (and later mixed with the TS404 and 3xosc) along with some Sytrus preset that I modified (starts at 2:12), a few more Sytrus layers added towards the climax (8:00), appregiations added to the Sytrus and later FM7 layers between 8 and 10 and towards the end. Then I had some TS404 with Spektral Delay for the high pitched "twinkles". Yeah, theres tons and tons of layers
N.I.V.R.A.
it sounds good but i miss the bass, perhaps it can be a bit louder...
Aeros
Hmm. I specifically tested it out on 3 sound systems (my production headphones, 2.1 sound sytem, and stereo) - Bass is IMO plenty strong, it would start to drown out other sound if I turned it up more. Try tweaking your system maybe? Although I dunno, if other people agree with you I could be wrong... ..or, are you talking about the bassline? In that case, yes, I could possibly add more bass to it. Just, I was aiming for abit of a gentler track Minor detail though.
N.I.V.R.A.
dont use headphones because every soundsystem sounds dif...listen it loud....and you will it hear... i just use a stereo sounds system...
Aeros
Hehe, well I personally like Headphones, or rather I should say Stereophones (you know those huge monsters that clamp on your ears) - they block out all outside sound and you get the full stereo effect of music. But like I said, durring production or post-production I always blast it loud on my woofer and speakers as well just to make sure it sounds alright there too.
