IronSun Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 And today's arrivals are some very long overdue purchases! (So far, so awesome ^^) (Still the most hideous cover ever) (Definitely one of the most underrated classics out there!) Quote
Penzoline Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 And today's arrivals are some very long overdue purchases! (Definitely one of the most underrated classics out there!) Me agree. And the remastering makes it sound soooo much better on top of that. Quote
ollylovesgoa Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 These three on vinyl (the bottom one is Darshan - Phased Transition EP) : And this CD: Im particularly chuffed with the Darshan and Etnica Vinyls. Quote
KozmikTentacles Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Live-Evil is amazing! I have that as a 2LP, lovely cover! Quote
ollylovesgoa Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Live-Evil is amazing! I have that as a 2LP, lovely cover! Live-Evil really is excellent, and the cover art! I'm so jealous of you having it 12x12 as an LP, so jealous I actually went to the local record store with full intention of buying it, they didn't have it and only had Bitches Brew for £50.00, which I simply can't afford, so I got these LP's instead : Great album by Herbie Hancock, funky jazz-fusion! This was £20.00, so pretty expensive for an 18 year old with no actual income haha, but I felt it was worth not buying petrol for my motorcycle for two weeks for this Near Mint copy of an album I have always loved on Mp3. John Martyn, incomparable musician. Quote
KozmikTentacles Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Really? You want Live-Evil and Bitches Brew on vinyl? I think I could sell these to you. *Much* better price than £50 too. Quote
ollylovesgoa Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Really? You want Live-Evil and Bitches Brew on vinyl? I think I could sell these to you. *Much* better price than £50 too. I'll pm you about Live-Evil in about three weeks when I get paid if that's alright (: , but as for Bitches Brew, got the 2LP yesterday in a record shop in Liverpool for £18! I'm extremely chuffed to say the least. Along with: 2LP on yellow vinyl! I can't describe my delight upon pulling this out of the stacks of otherwise uninteresting LPs. Life is now complete. Also found this EP in a charity shop for £2! : What a gem, the other remixes aren't bad either, so overall an extremely productive day. Quote
technosomy Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 zion 604 is a killer album! new oldschool madness Quote
Guest antic Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Not very psytrance, but psychedelic nonetheless: Orbital - Original Album Series http://www.discogs.com/Orbital-Original-Album-Series/release/3068075 Fluke - Risotto http://www.discogs.com/Fluke-Risotto/release/44921 I'm particularly happy about the former, as it is Orbital's five first albums in one package, for the price of one! I only had In Sides, so that's a very good deal for me Quote
franki Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I'm particularly happy about the former, as it is Orbital's five first albums in one package, for the price of one! I only had In Sides, so that's a very good deal for me I thought I'd really gone off Orbital and hadn't played any of their albums for years. I went through their first four again recently though and was pleasantly surprised - much better than I remembered! Quote
