Guest antic Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Two rare CDs today: V/A - Iconoblast (Symbiosis) http://www.discogs.com/release/165597 It's a weird CD, the cover does not look like psy-trance at all, and when you read the inner notes it's immediately obvious why - it's a tribute CD to Christopher Morris (I have no idea who's he, though). Music-wise it's a blend of squelchy psytrance & drum'n'bass / break-beats. The artist names speak for themselves Sibilant, Deviant Electronics, Tristan, Germinating Seeds of Doda... Wicked stuff! Chi-A.D - Virtual Spirit (Ganesha, NovaTekk) http://www.discogs.com/release/74290 Haven't listened to it yet, but judging by their other releases it should be at least solid, old-school goa-trance Quote

Guest antic Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Look at the list of members then (97) and look at it now. I think you'll be able to make the connection... Why do the talented ones always leave first? 592854[/snapback] Maybe because they were dissapointed seeing the direction the scene is / was changing? But on the other hand, who other than them could prevent it from changing? Or maybe they just grew up, started real jobs, family etc... That kind of stuff can totally alter your perspective. Quote
