PKS
what do you think on this new album? I need to listen more since I just received it, but first impression is pretty good. Groovy progressive trance with a funky touch, like the latest Kiwa album... There is tons of boring progressive trance out there, but some people seems to manage to give it an extra spicy touch in an interesting way, which Kiwa and Highpersonic Whomen does... As usual, a lot of interesting sounds from the suomi gang.. :posford:

As usual, a lot of interesting sounds from the suomi gang.. :posford:I really liked the first Kiwa album, I would classify it "progressive" but in the meaning of "advanced"! and not the boring progressive I've unfortunately got to know... however I really got disappointed of their second album not to mention their third that I didn't even gave it a chance, the first Highpersonic Whomen album I wouldn't describe it as advance, but a boring progressive... I was hoping a lot more from Tommy...
PKS
I really liked the first Kiwa album, I would classify it "progressive" but in the meaning of "advanced"! and not the boring progressive I've unfortunately got to know... Yes, the first Kiwa album: http://www.discogs.com/release/59617 ...is simply fantastic. I love it! I wish more artists dared to go that direction. Pure psychedelic mixture of breaks and trance, experimental and challenging all the way filled with trippy sounds. An album that will never sound outdated... I wish Kiwa did more of that style, and maybe they will with the Headphonics project? Hope so... Anyway, the progressive trance they serve these days isn't bad either, compared to most progressive trance, but again, it's miles away from their first album... Talented guys for sure...
