Also, early Gescom stuff is rather brilliant, most of it only released on vinyl though :/ No I never listened to Amber. Tri Repetae & all the horrible compilation tracks put me off & Autechre albums here are always really expensive so I've never been tempted to part with my (now) hard earned cash for something I'm sketchy about. Yeah, Amber and Incunabula are less abstract and more structured, less cut 'n paste and more melodic, and generally very moving and atmospheric, I feel. I think they would be right up your alley.
