Oopie
thought u already had this one (since u been mentioning it a lot ) Would u classify it as dark...?! I have a hard time, it's hard yes, but dark?! Maybe the simple classification would be (as my good thai-friend calls it) crazy music! I think it fit rather perfectly! To be honest I heard the album over a year before it's release. I had unmastered mp3 copies of it. The music's intelligent, little suomish, at times melodic, but still dark psy. That's how I perceive it. You can call good music dark psy too u'know...

There are some good moments and tracks (#2 for example), but most of it to my ears sounds very random (and - just to make it clear - I like a lot of darkpsy, especially the russian crazy/chaotic type). I get the feeling that every layer tells it's own story, without any connection with the rest of the track... Too bad, because I very much liked other releases from Space Boogie (Astroschnautzer, Troll Scientists).

And listening to this album through-out makes me a little exhausted. Separately the tracks do work thou. Antic I think you have a pretty similar taste to mine (Being a Cosmosis whore'n'all!). Would there be any recommended dark psy albums from your side, with a little intelligent/melodic edge?

I agree with u Oopie, they can get tiresome if u hear them all in one go, but there are some really good tracks (especially track 2 and 5 )
mephistopheles
just ordered my copy of: Solar Fields - Movements (and while doing so I thought by myself why not order: Solar Fields - Reflective Frequencies at once....tricked again....hehe....) also, a new copy of Juno Reactor's Labyrinth is on the way....(lost my 1st one it seems....:-( ) actually I made a mistake in ordering the Reflective frequencies as I was a bit confused and held this one by mistake for the Extended album which is no longer available....luckily enough I was able to switch this one for Hol Baumann's Human album.... happy happy... Would there be any recommended dark psy albums from your side, with a little intelligent/melodic edge? From 'recent' releases I personally very much like: - Alien Mental (intelligent, very psychedelic & deep stuff), - Psymmetrix (unique underground British sound and very varied tracks), - Procs (psychedelic baroque opera), and - EVP (complex, funny and psychedelic, with a full-on edge), though I could hardly label any of them as being melodic. As for more hectic stuff, I've been really enjoying Furious (though after that everything seems slllooooowwwww...) and Kindzadza ("psychedelic physics" - someone called it that way and it fits perfectly). Generally, listen to what Rotwang is recommending - he's got a good taste (e.g. same as mine )) for darkpsy.

Oopie
Any comments on this one? I was thinking of adding it to my next order It's ok. Maroko's review on discogs sums it up pretty good. I like Galaxy Journey and Filteria rmx a lot actually. The rest fails to do much of an impression. You might perceive the album differently naturally, but from my point of view I won't recommend it for just 2 tracks.
Ormion
Any comments on this one? I was thinking of adding it to my next order It reminds a lot of the old Hypnotic releases. It doesn't sound very professional, the tracks have a lot of similarities between them and there's enough cheese in it. But it's a very enjoyable release, the kind of Goa you listen, you smile, you dance and don't care about technical details.
